Twister (Shell), Test Field Groningen

A Dutch manufacturer of supersonic separators, was running a test field with gas from the public gas supply net, just allowing to add small amounts of liquids. For better test conditions the customer was looking for a technical solution to run the test in a closed loop. Bornemann proposed to install a multiphase pump MPC 335-100 and thereby to increase the pressure after the separator from 20 barg to 36 barg. After the pump installation in September 2005 the test field has been in successful operation for several tests.
